The Process

How it works

Three steps from selecting an issue to producing a structured civic argument.

1

Pick a real issue

Choose a governance challenge and the leader role you want to persuade — PM, Cabinet Minister, Chief Minister, or District Collector.

2

Enter the arena

Make structured arguments, handle pushback, and keep the AI leader engaged. Respectful, evidence-based debate gets the best results.

3

Get your feedback

See which of your 7 persuasion levers worked best, get coaching notes, and turn your argument into a policy brief you can edit, keep private, or contribute to the community.

Every debate produces useful artefacts for your own learning and for the wider civic community.

Seven levers of influence — each one moves the leader differently: Reason (logic), Research (evidence), Resonance (emotional connection), Redescription (reframing), Resources (feasibility), Real-World Events (timing), Resistances (addressing pushback).

Coaching Report

A session summary with your wisdom level, political capital, transcript, and targeted feedback on what worked and what to sharpen.

Policy Brief

An AI-generated think piece based on your discussion. Edit it, save it privately, or publish it as a citizen policy brief.

About HiPo Citizen Coach

Practise civic persuasion with AI-simulated Indian leaders

HiPo Citizen Coach is an AI-powered civic arguement trainer built for Indian citizens who want to engage with issues pertaining to governance. You pick a real policy issue — from youth unemployment and public health spending to district-level service delivery — and enter a structured practice conversation with an AI-simulated leader.

The simulation is not a real official. It is a safe space to test your thinking, and understand how public decision-makers move. Feedback on every session is given basis the 7R framework — Reason, Research, Resonance, Redescription, Resources, Real-World Events, and Resistances — and on 12 dimensions of systems thinking, from root-cause analysis to unintended consequences.

After the conversation you receive a private coaching report, a quick policy summary, and the option to contribute your brief to the community issue reports. You can practise with 10 AI-simulated leaders across 20 approved civic issues, or start your own custom debate on a topic that matters to you. We will be adding more leaders and topics, but you can starting coaching conversation on topics of your interest till then.

Who is it for? Policy enthusiasts, public-spirited professionals, students, and anyone who wants to move beyond outrage and build arguments that account for real constraints. HiPo Citizen Coach aims to help you ask better questions, understand the complex nature of problems and help think through solutions that can account for those complexities.

How does a coaching session work?

Is the leader a real government official?

No. Every leader is an AI simulation created for civic education. The simulation does not speak for any real person, party, or government body.
